DTF Pressing Instructions
Applying DTF transfers is simple when the correct heat press settings are used. Rad Transfers prints press-ready transfers designed for vibrant color, strong adhesion, and long-lasting durability on cotton, polyester, and blended garments.
Follow the steps below for consistently rad results.
Heat Press Settings
Temperature: 300°F
Pressure: Firm pressure (about level 7)
These settings work well for most standard heat presses and apparel fabrics. Read more about specific heat settings.
Application Steps
Step 1
Place the transfer on the garment and press for 10 seconds at 300°F with firm pressure.
Step 2
Hot peel immediately after pressing. Remove the carrier film while the transfer is still hot.
Step 3
Cover the design with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet.
Step 4
Repress for 5 seconds to fully bond the design to the fabric.
This final press helps the print settle into the garment and improves durability.

Washing & Care Instructions
To keep your prints looking fresh:
-
Turn garments inside out before washing
-
Wash with cold or warm water
-
Avoid high heat when drying
-
Do not iron directly on the printed design
Turning garments inside out helps protect the surface of the print and keeps colors looking bright.
Pro Tip
Every heat press runs a little different. For best results, test on a spare garment first and adjust pressure or press time slightly if needed.
Once you dial in your settings, you’ll be pressing clean, vibrant transfers like a pro in no time.
